Little River 07/13/14
« on: July 13, 2014, 09:52:00 PM »
Pics in a day or two... have to finish going through the cons. Drove all the way there and didn't think I would get to get in the river.......it was packed, never seen that many swimmers and tubers there at the same time.

lol..... seriously though - I have never had any problems any where on LR with the locals. Have been going there a couple years now and the only time I have been hassled was right after " the incident"  by one of wildlife officers - have run into several different ones since and have got along just fine. A little chit chat and a lot of respect and politeness go along way. Fill in your holes and pick up some trash - I didn't put it there but I sure like the area and to be able to use it.

Well said. We need to apply your rules to every waterway in the state.
Sometimes when I find some gold and a local is there with their Kids, I put a little in a vial and give it to them. The smile  ;D on their face is worth a million dollars! Many have never seen raw gold before.

Swimmer gave two kids some "wild" gold too. It was the first time we had ever saw any. :)

Finally got to go through the cons from about 4 gallons that I run through the sluice before the clouds and thunder run me back across the river...  :(
