need advice

Hello fellow prospectors. I am a new member with the gpaa. got my experience being mentored by Rob Kelly in Woodstock, Georgia. Black sand can be found just about two inches under the surface at six mile. Doesn't seem to be the case at Coker creek and area. Is the black sand deeper there? And is there much white quartz in the streams around Coker? I need an education. Can anyone give advice?

Coker is a different beast.  I always had great luck with ride the gray for pay at Coker.  If you dig down and hit the light gray, look at your shovel and if you see a small layer of pebbles above it, you will get gold.  Black sand at coker is more course than Sixes and less abundant from what I've noticed.  Of course I've only been to Sixes twice in the last 2 years and Coker it's been about 4 years, but I doubt they've changed that much.
