Barney Creek gold?
« on: March 19, 2016, 05:15:41 PM »
Hello everyone.

I may have possibly came across some land along Barney creek that the land owner might allow access on his land for some sluicing and panning. I was wondering if anyone on the forum or in the group might know if there is any gold in this creek or has any experience extracting a little color from this area.   THANKS

There is gold in Barney Creek. Most of it is small, but I like gold of any size. As outings chairman I would welcome the chance to set up and outing there. If I can be of assistance let me know.

Thanks Al. As of right now i barely have my foot in the door. Unfortunately due to previous events there is somewhat of a trust issue. Years ago he had let others on his property and the left his property full of beer cans, garbage, dirty diapers and just general disrespect. There was even a camp fire left burning, So he is very reluctant to opening it up again. He is old and in poor health and does not want to deal with the damage and possible safety hazards The actions of a few have seemed to put a bad taste in his mouth.

Glad to hear there might be a little color there big or small. The vial has no discrimination .

Unfortunately the actions of a few mess it up for all. I wouldn't mind making contact with him anyway since I do have quite a few good references.
