Campground Rules:
Roostin? Ridge Lease

Welcome to Roostin? Ridge
  Coker Creek Chapter of the GPAA welcomes you to the Roostin? Ridge gold lease.  We hope you will enjoy your time here, but there are a few camping rules we expect you to observe.  While the rules are noted as ?campground rules? these rules apply to Day use as well. 

General
  • This is a Members Only facility!  Members should have your membership card with you.  If you do not have your membership Card with you, you may be asked to leave.  Guests must be accompanied by a host member at all times.  (This rule is Suspended on Regular Meeting days).
  • All Members and guests, MUST Sign in.
  • Laws of the State of Tennessee and Monroe County will be followed at all Times.  Failure to do so may involve Law enforcement.
  • Access to the property will be by the south entrance on Hwy 68. North road is ok for using ramp to unload dredges. Do NOT cross the creek in the back area of the property. That is private land!
  • Speed Limit is 10 MPH.
  • Quiet hours 10:30pm. till 6:30am. This is not a Curfew.
  • No excessive drinking.  Beer and drinks are allowed, but need to be in a cup.  No visible containers.
  • You are allowed to stay up to 30 days. Tent or RV.  After 30 days, you must leave for at least 7 days.
  • If you leave for more than 48 hours, you must tear down your campsite, clean your area, and take it all with you. (exceptions are made in special circumstances)
  • Be Respectful and considerate in the presence of minors.
  • Children under the age of 18 are expected to be closely supervised by their Parent or Guardian.


Fires, Firearms, and Fireworks

  • Carrying of Firearms is allowed within the limits of Tennessee Law.  NO FIRING OF FIREARMS, or any other projectile device.
  • No Fireworks (except on Holidays with Permission)
  • Fires will be contained and Must be attended at all times.  You should have water (or fire extinguisher) available in case of emergency.  Fires should not be left unattended.  Please use existing firepits. 
  • Dead or fallen trees may be used for firewood.  Live trees shall not be cut or damaged.
  • All fires will use wood only. (No tires, etc). Fueled camp stoves and heaters are permitted.
   

Facilities
  • The Outhouse has a working flush toilet and we have a working COLD shower. Bring toilet paper - you may need it.
  • We do not have trash pick-up.  Take all trash out when you leave.  Do not burn trash.
  • Campsites and use areas must be kept clean.
  • Within a given campsite there should be no more than 1 RV, 1 Tent, and 1 Tarp (e.g. Easy-up, dining fly) set up at one time.  The tarp should not be bigger than 12x12 or the equivalent square footage (~ 150sqft).


Pets
  • Pets are Welcome but must be kept under control at all times.  Poop Must be Scooped.
  • Pets should not be left out while the owner is away from the property.  Unattended animal are neither the responsibility of the Chapter nor the Landowner.
  • Pets that are excessively noisy (especially during quiet hours) may need to be moved to an area away from other campers.
  • Owners are responsible for ANY damages or injuries caused by their pet.
