My Amethyst collection so far...

My Amethyst collection that I started a year or two ago. There are some Amethyst points in the collection and some pieces that are richer in color than others. Hopefully, I'll be adding more soon. :)

They all came from a gem mine in Northern Georgia, Gold N Gems Grubbin (I think). Btw, Al we should plan an outing to one of the gold creeks in Georgia.

I forgot to mention that gem mine is also a placer gold mining operation and is open to the public to hunt for both gems and gold( for a fee though).

Check out JRX Crossroads Amethyst Mine . Mid Georgia. They have a Fee dig coming up this weekend..
