Biggest Gold of 2016
« on: February 07, 2017, 04:52:51 PM »
These are my two biggest pieces of 2016, not nothing to brag about yet. The one on the left is my first Tennessee picker that I found back in April. The one on the right is a picker, more a large flake than a picker, from my secret spot on Little River. Hopefully this year will mark my first nugget, I'm off to a good start. :D What was the biggest pieces of gold you guys found in 2016?

I've had dreams of hitting the rivers and creeks, curse you work and 3 hr drive each way.  That gold looks good man!   My only big picker/nugget from Little River was found when I had let the land owner on the nozzle for about 30 min.  When they came up, we checked the box and it was sitting on top of the mat looking all majestic.  I gave it to him and never found another, but did find really good gold on that river.  Keep it up, there's one waiting somewhere and will be that much sweeter when you find it!

I haven't even been out since November. That time I pulled a muscle in my back and it took 9 weeks to recover. I ate more Ibuprofen during that time than I have eaten in my entire life combined. lol.
