Florida Beach Gold?
« on: July 03, 2017, 06:11:22 AM »
Just got back from an unexpected trip to Daytona Beach.  I knew I was going to be in Florida just didn't know I'd be at the beach.  Saw black sand on the beach.  Has anyone tested that for gold?

I heard that some beaches in FL contain micro amounts of gold. The best way to find out is to test pan.
Actually I fly into Daytona Beach in a few days, but will not have time to look for gold. I will be in Palm Coast for a few days.
