This Rain!
« on: July 06, 2017, 08:06:37 PM »
Has anyone been able to hit the creek or river in the past month. This rain (Brings in more gold) has been torrential in Grainger county. Be safe, happy prospecting.

I'm like you Cody, when is the rain going to stop. I have to cut my yard once a week because of the rain. Last year I mowed once every two to three weeks. Yep, I would rather be panning.

I visited Little River last Saturday and had a pretty good time. It was really cloudy and threatened to rain on and off all day. I saw two or more folks in kayaks and a few people wading in the river.

The water level had dropped to 1.71 which gave me an opportunity to cross the river. I can tell you this for a fact, the gold is still there. Shhhh!
Don't tell anyone but the gold is hiding on the top layer of the mud. Wink!

Take care

I think I have about removed all the gold from the picnic area, Going to have to find more property on Little River. So much potential there but all in state park. We went swimming in a water hole up in the park and all i could do was look at the sand and gravel drove me crazy.

I tried Lower Coker today. Water was too high, then a storm came. Now water is too higher.

Better luck next time. Is it better to burn or drown, lol.
