 I recently  bought a used 4in keene dredge, it works perfectly. What would be the best  and easist way to convert  it to a 3in for use in cherokee nat forest ? I \'d appreceate some input. pk :rolleyes:

Get a steel 3\" ID ring and weld it to to the end of your nozzle.
Tractor supply caries them but they are usually out.
You can always make your own.

Sure...
I just did the same thing to mine.
I got the idea from Tim L.
I had to make the ring out of steel pencil rod, heated and bent it around a pipe.
It was a pain but now I\'m legal.

I just snipped my ring and had it welded to 3 inches.  It comes (swivel nozzle) at about 3 and 1/8th to 3 and 1/4th, but the rangers know that, and want it to be 3 or less, not slightly above.  :-(
